Lauding Bangladesh’s “mesmerising” economic growth, Finaland Wednesday expressed eagerness to work with Bangladesh to enhance trade and investment between the two countries.
“The both sides need to put more substance in the relations, particularly by pursuing more engagements to enhance trade and investment between the two countries,” said the newly appointed Ambassador of Finland to Bangladesh Nina Irmeli Vaskunlahti.
During a meeting with Foreign Minister AH Mahmood Ali at the latter’s office here, the Finland Ambassador expressed her government’s interest to hold foreign secretary level political consultations to further strengthen bilateral relations. She also said that she would continue to work to make Finland ‘visible’ to Bangladesh, foreign ministry sources said
