Film festival on Charlie Chaplin’s birthday begins

The week-long ‘Charley Chaplin Film Festival’ marking the 127th anniversary of the birth of silent movie legend Charlie Chaplin will began at Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy (BSA) yesterday (Saturday).
The film festival will end on April 22.
Born on April 16, 1889, his full name is Sir Charles Spencer “Charlie” Chaplin KBE.
Department of the Dance and Film of BSA organised the festival in the International Digital Cultural Archive of Jatiya Natyashala.
The start of the event will be marked with the screening of the film ‘Chaplin U-turn’ on the day while the film ‘Modern Times’ will be
showed on Sunday, ‘In the Gold Rush’ on Monday, ‘Charlotte Etley Many Queen’, ‘ Laughing Gas’, ‘Face on Bar Room Floor Reaction’, ‘The Mass Kuardar’, ‘Good for Nothing ‘, ‘The Rounder’ on Tuesday
, ‘The Fireman’, ‘The adventure’ ,’ A Dog’s life’ on Wednesday , ‘A Woman’ , ‘The Bank’ , ‘The Rink’ on Thursday and The ‘Pon shop’, ‘BY the sea’ ‘The Immigrant’ on Friday, Movies will be screened at 6.30 pm every day.
