National Film Award winning noted director Kazi Hayat is currently admitted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private hospital in the capital.
Earlier on, he was hospitalised as doctors suspected a heart blockage. He had returned home a few days ago.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Film Artistes Association, Zayed Khan confirmed the matter yesterday. He said, “Kazi Hayat was hospitalised after he started having chest pain around 2:30am on Wednesday. We are trying to keep up with all his health updates.”
Kazi Hayat is also a noted writer, producer and actor. He recently celebrated the 40th anniversary of the Bangladesh Film Directors’ Association at the BFDC.
