Fifteen players were sharing the lead in the 34th National Sub-Junior (Under-16) Chess Championship after the second round games at Bangladesh Chess Federation hall-room here on Sunday. Anata Choudhury, FM Mohammad Fahad Rahman, Kingshik Das, Subrata Das, Nayeem Haque, Nur Newaz Oyan, Swarnavo Chowdhury, Jannatul Ferdous, Rabbi Mrida, Akib Jawad, Jhorna Begum, Sajedul Haque, Nova Tasha, Musfuca Zannat Sawri and Sumaiya Tabassum Bushra earned full 2 points each after second round to share the lead. In the 2nd round matches, Anata beat Tahsin Tajwar Zia, Fahad defeated Nawshin Anjum, Kingshuk outplayed Aishman RS Johayer, Subrota routed Sadman Hasan Dihan, Nayeem trounced Arian Ahmed, Oyan overcame Shadman Islam Ushno, Swarnavo beat Christopher Roy, Jannatul beat Sohan Rahat, Akib defeated Syed Shadman Abtoahy, Jhorna beat Mahmud Hasan, Sahid beat Wasif Akbar, Nova beat Zaeef Maheen and Sawri beat Shanjida Sakid.
