Three FIFA officials on Thursday visited at the Bir Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamala Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur to inspection the primary works ahead of install the artificial turf under the FIFA Development project.
They are Markus Keller (FIFA Astro Turf Consultant), Peter Van Reijen (technical manager, Great Sports Infra) and John K John (official, Great Sports Infra).
After the inspection, the FIFA officials expressed their satisfaction over the work and gave some guide lines and order to start the installation work of Artificial turf within the next 8 to 10 days.
Bangladesh Football Federation general secretary Abu Nayeem Sohag was also present on the occasion.
