Staff Reporter :A 51-member FIDAF (Federation of International Dance Festival) Bangladesh Regional Committee has been formed at a general meeting presided over by Laila Hasan.It was announced in a press briefing held at the Novo Convention Centre in the city on Wednesday.The conference was presided over by Md Faruk Khan MP Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism. He is also the President of FIDAF Bangladesh Regional Committee. The press conference began with a Power-point presentation about FIDAF Bangladesh by prominent dance personality and Secretary General of FIDAF Bangladesh Silvia Afrin Faria. An international cultural event will be held in November 2015 with the participation of around 500 artists from a record 30 countries across the world.Vice-Presidents of FIDAF Bangladesh Laila Hasan, Fatema-Tuz-Johra and SM Rahman and National Representative, Congress Member and local Chairman of FIDAF Sazedur Rahman Munim and FIDAF Bangladesh Adviser Begum Rahiza Khanam Jhunu were present, among others, at the present conference.
