Freedom fighter Shirin Banu Mitil died of cardiac arrest at a city hospital in the early hours of Thursday.
She was 65.
Mitil left behind her husband, a son and two daughters to mourn her death.
Her body will be taken to the Central Shaheed Minar today in the morning for people to pay tributes.
On March 27, 1971 Mitil in guise of a male, participated in the Liberation War from Pabna Police Lines.
On receiving training from Gobra freedom fighter camp in India, she took part in the freedom of struggle from Sector No. Nine (9). She served in
Muktijoddha control room at Nagarbari in Pabna. Her mother Selina Banu was a parliament member of Jukto Front.
