Mir Abdus Sattar (Mohon Mian), a renowned freedom fighter has alleged that his land has been occupied by neighbor Mir Amzad Ali and his son and he is being harassed in false cases by them .
He made this allegations at a press conference at Muktagachha Press Club on Saturday afternoon. To get back the possession of the land, he appealed to the Religious Affairs Minister , local Awami League leaders, MP, RAB, Police, Police Superintendent, Mymensingh .
He complained that once his daughter-in-law of Mir Abul Hashim rented out nearly 6 acres of land for fish farming. Hashim died in 2011 and the rental agreement was canceled.
Hashim’s father and his two sons Abul Hashan and Abdul Awal Arif occupied the land since 2012. The arbitration conducted at different times at the police station and the village leaders could not save the land.
He has also sent a petition to Prime Minister and a s a freedom fighter, he has sought the intervention of the Prime Minister.
