The feuds in between two reputed industrial groups of the Port city centring land disputes continuing unresolved. In the meantime, three lawmakers of Chattogram tried to resolve the feuds but yet to be mitigated. In the meantime , KSRM group demolished the cement pillars from the disputed land following the directives of Bangladesh Railway(East) and again installed bamboo partition instead of cement pillars.
With the reinstalling bamboo sticks in the disputed areas, PHP group raised complaint against KSRM.
Sensing any fatal accidents in the railway track in the disputed land, Railway asked the KSRM to demolish the cement pillars and fencing wire fearing unwanted accident during movement of train. A sources said PHP group purchased land of 1.53 acres from one Nurul Alam in 2005 and accordingly paying land taxes etc . But unscrupulous Nurul Alam again sold out these leased land to KSRM in 2016 . Centering the execution of sale deeds of the leased lands between two influential groups by the lease separately, the feuds created severely recently.
Meanwhile Asstt. Commissioner of Land, Sitakunda Upazila and the railway estate department issued separate official letters to both of them but the feuds still continuing without any amicable solutions, Railway sources said.
Mentionable that most of the industrial units in Sitakunda industrial zone are utilizing railway lands for their purpose and these industrial enterprises are feared of their leased lands of Railway centring the feuds over railway lands in between KSRM and PHP Group.
