Aiming to dispel the fear of Bangla spelling from the mind of students and encourage them to write and pronounce Bangla correctly, a festival on Bangla language was held at Chittagong City Corporation Municipal Model School and College on Friday.
Shobdhokolpodrum Udjapan Committee organised the day-long festival.
Housing and Public Works Minister Mosharraf Hossain inaugurated the festival. Writer Dr Muhammad Zafar Iqbal and child litterateur Ali Imam also spoke at the event participated by some 1,000 students form over 70 schools and colleges of Chittagong.
