Ferdousi Priyabhashini`s solo exhibition at Bengal Gallery

 Entertainment Desk :Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts, the gallery has organised a solo sculpture exhibition titled “Prelude to a Monsoon Evening” featuring the works of noted sculptor Ferdousi Priyabhashini on the occasion of its 15th founding anniversary. The exhibition was inaugurated on August 7.Environmentalist Enamul Haque, thespian and elocutionist Jayanto Chattopadhyay and artist Rokeya Sultana jointly inaugurated the exhibition. Luva Nahid Chowdhury, Director General of Bengal Foundation and sculptor Ferdousi Priyabhashini were also present at the inauguration. A documentary on her life and works was also screened at the venue.Ferdousi Priyabhashini is a dedicated sculptor who is committed to wielding a hammer and chisel. Her works have close connections with nature and humanity. The artist has used dry twigs, branches, trunks, dry shrubbery, discarded roots, insect-eaten stumps, coconut shells, brushwood and varied natural fibres in her sculptural works. The exhibition will continue till August 27.
