Entertainment Report :Niyotir Porihash, Ekhono Kritodas, Ekhon Dussomoy, Senapoti, Ghore Bairey, Kokilara, Dyash-er Manush, Meraj Fakir-er Maa, Krishnakanter Will are noted playwright, actor and director Abdullah Al Mamun’s written and directed mentionable plays. The play Krishnakanter Will was directed by noted actress Ferdousi Mazumder. Produced by Theatre this play was first staged on November 6, 1994 at Mohila Samity in the city’s Bailey Road area.Under the direction of Abdullah Al Mamun, Ferdousi Mazumder acted in drama serials Jowar Bhata, Ek Jonomey and Baba. With the story based on odd aged love story late Abdullah Al Mamun wrote a serial titled Tahader Joubankal. He wanted to make the serial. But he failed to give direction of it. His long time assistant and play director Sajjad Hasan Bablu is making the serial now where as usual Ferdousi Mazumder is acting in the lead role. She is acting in role of Sumita Barua in the serial. This week the shooting of the serial is going on at Pubail in Gazipur. While talking about her performance in the serial Ferdousi Mazumder told this correspondent, “Basically I have agreed to work in the serial because its story was written by Mamun Bhai. Earlier I worked under his direction and also his written story based many plays and serials. For this reason, while working under his story-based play I always experience emotional feelings. From that emotion and experience I am now working in the serial. I am really enjoying working in the serial. I will work if my body supports well. If I get good story and I remain physically well I will continue to acting.”The serial Tahader Joubankal will go on air on ATN Bangla soon. Ramendu Mazumder, SM Mohsin, Dolly Zahur, Pijush Bandyopadhyay, Diba Nargis, Rumana, Alvi, Sabbir Ahmed, among others, are also acting in this serial in different roles, said its director Sajjad.Earlier Sajjad Hasan Bablu made a drama serial titled Kala Manik-er Dhola Bou, which story was also written by Abdullah Al Mamun, for Bangladesh Television. On the other hand, Ferdousi Mazumder is now acting in Rahmatullah Tuhin’s directed a serial titled Khonikaloy on Maasranga TV.
