Popular singer Ferdous Wahid has been hospitalised with fever. The 67-year-old has heart disease, high blood pressure
and diabetes.
According to a Facebook post by singer Fakir Alamgir on Thursday, the pop star is undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital. He is currently in the Intensive Care Unit there.
Moshrraf, an aide to Ferdous Wahid, said the singer was taken to the hospital in the evening and the doctors kept him under observation. “Everything was alright after that. But he stopped eating today. His temperature is fluctuating. So the doctors advised hospitalisation,” Mosharraf said.
The singer tested negative for Covid-19 last week
