Bangladesh Television (BTV) is set to air its Eid special magazine TV show titled Anandamela on Eid-ul-Fitr. Like in previous years, the show will feature various entertaining sessions for the viewers.
However, this edition of Anandamela will feature a unique performance by six musicians from the two Banglas, including West Bengal’s Raghab Chatterjee, Joy Sarkar and Usha Uthup. Popular actor Tareen Jahan will pay a dance tribute to late legendary actress Kobori who passed away from Covid-19. Actors Apu Biswas and Mehazabien will also present dance performances, among other segments of the show. Baul Shofi Mondol and Momtaz will also render songs during the show.
This year’s Anandamela was produced by Mahfuza Akter. It was shot in BTV’s studio. The magazine show will be aired on Eid day after the 10:00pm English-language news on BTV.
