The sculpture Aparajeyo Bangla was made to commemorate the war of independence of Bangladesh. It is situated at Arts Faculty, University of Dhaka. Shooting of the
government-grant movie 1971 Seisob Din was held adjacent to Aparajeyo Bangla on the campus of University of Dhaka. Actress and director Hridi Haque is
making the movie 1971 Seisob Din, which story is based on the Liberation War. Maximum portion of shooting of the movie was done. Now Hridi is completing rest part of the shooting. On January 15, shooting of the movie was held adjacent
to Aparajeyo Bangla, sculpture of Arts Faculty of University of Dhaka, round the day. Five times National Film Award
winning actor Ferdous is playing the role of a university teacher while actress Hridi Haque, also director of the film, is playing role of the teacher’s wife in the movie. While talking about the movie Hridi Haque said, “Main story concept of this movie was my father. When my father was alive I started to make this movie. Today my father is not alive. But he will remain with this movie forever. Ferdous Bhai acted outstandingly well in his character. Other actors are also acting well in this movie. Ekushey February and Independence Day are coming. I am
planning to release this movie in a special day. But it is yet not confirmed. Otherwise, it will release after Eid-ul-Fitr.”
While talking about acting in this movie, actor Ferdous said, “Main theme of the story of this movie was given by Dr Enamul Haque Sir. Hridi herself wrote its script. I have liked story, script and Hridi’s direction. Earlier, I had experience to act in movies which stories were based on the Liberation War. In fact, I could not see such types of detailing in 1971 Seisob Din during shooting. Hridi is working sincerely. I believe her dream regarding this movie will become fulfilled. I was the student of Department of Mass Communication and Journalism of this university. Earlier, I took part in shooting on the campus of this university. But for the first time, I took part in shooting at my department. It was really a delightful matter for me. I give thanks to Hridi to recall memories of my old days at university life.”
