In the beginning of her career, noted Nazrul singer Ferdous Ara got the scope to give her voice for play-back songs of documentary and movies under the music composition of noted music directors like Khan Ataur Rahman, Satya Saha, among others. Later she continued giving voice for play-back songs. This time viewers will watch her in a different way on the screen.
Besides rendering three songs in MA Khaleque’s new movie Bastobota, Ferdous Ara will give music direction of the movie. Due to necessity of the story of the movie, she will perform in role of a world famous singer in Bastobota. In fact, she will perform with rendering a song on the screen. Focusing of the lifestyle of disabled people Ferdous Ara will render a song titled Protibondhi holeo ora roktey mangshey gora in the movie. There will be three songs in the movie, Ferdous Ara informed.
Recording of the song which was rendered by Ferdous Ara on the screen was done on Tuesday where child singers of her musical school, Surshaptak also performed.
While talking in this regard Ferdous Ara told this correspondent, “I am very glad to get the opportunity to give music direction in a movie for the first time. I am trying my level best to entertain the viewers by my songs. I give special thanks to director Khaleque Bhai because he gave the scope in this regard. Without his inspiration I could not give direction in the movie, which shooting will kick off within this month.”
Ferdous Ara last gave her vocal for play-back song for Indian National Film Award winner movie Goutam Ghosh’s Shonkhochil. Earlier this she also gave her voice for Abul Khayer Bulbul’s movie Abujh Prem.
