Prime Minister’s Media Adviser Iqbal Sobhan Chowdhury said, people of Feni once worked with proud in administration, defence, education, business and journalism , now past fame should be regained by establishing fair politics here.
“The fame of Feni has been destroyed for terrorist activities and youths of the locality are involved in this heinous acts due to lack good politics,” he said while addressing an Eid programme as Chief Guest at Feni Press Club on Eid day ( September 25).
He encouraged local journalists to write against them who are involved in terrorist activities. To regain the fame of Feni. there is no alternative to protest the heinous activities in the name of politics.
Mr Chowdhury also said, educational institutions of the district have lost its glory following unfair politics and bad management .
Feni Press Club President Nurul Karim Majumder presided over the function . Upazila Chairman Abdur Rahman B.Com, Prof Dr ASM Golam Kibria, Editor of Feni Barta Mir Hossain Miru, Deputy Chief Reporter of Prothom Alo Tipu Sultan, General Secretary of Photo Journalist Association, Dhaka Mir Ahmed Miru, journalists Abu Taher, Bokhtiar Rahman Munna, Biplob Kumar Das among others attended it. General Secretary Zamir Beg conducted the programme.
