Some policemen saw an unidentified old man aged approximately 60 years standing in front of Police Lines Canteen. He did not asks anything from anyone, although he seems to be mentally balanced. He is a very shy person. If someone wants to feed him, he eats. The man is very smart in conversation with educated people.
Seeing the condition of his clothes very bad, some policemen bought lungi, shirt, towel from a shop for him in Feni town on September 1.
The policemen took him and cleaned him.
Later the identity of the said person is known as Ashutosh Sarkar (63), Father-Shibu Ram Sarkar, Mother-Rani Bhavani Sarkar, Village-Santal Para, Post-Panchari, Thana-Panchari, District-Khagrachari.
It is also known that he disappeared 4/5 months ago.
Feni District Superintendent of Police Zakir Hasan handed over Ashutosh to his family.
