UNB, Madaripur :Police recovered the hanging body of a female student of Barisal Medical College from her house at Bhabanipur village in Kalkini upazila on Thursday morning.The deceased was identified as Mohua Akhter (21), a 2nd year student of the medical college.Police said family members found her hanging from the ceiling in her room early in the morning.Being informed by locals, police recovered the body.Family members claimed that she committed suicide for excessive academic pressure.Sub-Inspector of Kalkini police station Md. Wadud Mia said her family will take permission from the deputy commissioner for not conducting the deceased’s post-mortem.
