Merina Parvin, senior official, United Commercial Bank, died at the age of 48 at her Nawapara industrial town based residence at around 8:15pm on Thursday.
Mizanur Rahman, husband of the death, who is a noted businessman, told Newsmen that his wife was suffering from liver cancer. She is survived by her husband, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and well wishers to mourn. She was buried in Laxmipur district on Friday.
