The Diamond Melamine Federation Cup Rugby Competition begins tomorrow at the Paltan Maidan. Bangladesh Rugby Federation will arrange the rugby meet under auspices of Diamond Melamine Industries Limited.
A total of six teams will take part in the rugby meet. They are: Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Amateur Rugby Club, Madartek Rugby Club, Flame Boys Rugby Club, Madaripur District Sports Association and Kanchon Rugby Warriors.
To mark the ensuing rugby competition, a press conference was held at the conference room of Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday. Chairman of the Tournament Committee Rashiduzzaman Serniabat, Manager of Diamond Melamine Industries Limited Kazi Mohammad Abu Saleh, General Secretary of Bangladesh Rugby Federation Mousum Ali, Secretary of the Tournament Committee Syed Ahmed were present at the conference.
Secretary of National Sports Council Ashoke Kumar Biswas will inaugurate the meet tomorrow as the chief guest while Chairman of the Diamond Melamine Industries Limited Md Mokhter Hossain will be with him as the special guest.
