The Aarong Dairy Federation Cup Women Kabaddi Tournament starts tomorrow at the Kabaddi Stadium.
Bangladesh Kabaddi Federation will organize the kabaddi competition with the financial assistance of BRAC Dairy & Food Project.
The budget of the tournament has been estimated at Tk 4,50,000 while BRAC Dairy & Food Project, the sponsor of the meet will provide all the money.
A total of six teams dividing into two groups will take part in the kabaddi competition. Dhaka Wanderers Club, Narail District Sports Association, Dhaka District Sports Association are in Group A while Institute of Kabaddi, Azad Sporting Club, Faridpur District Sports Association are in Group B.
Top two teams from each group will move into the semi-finals. The winners of the semi-finals will get tickets of the final, which will be held on September17.
The champions will be given Tk 20,000 while the runners-up will get Tk 10,000 as prize-money.
