Bangladesh Army take on Brothers Union Limited (Chittagong) in final of the Diamond Melamine Federation Cup Rugby Competition scheduled to be held today (Saturday) at Physical Education College Ground in the city’s Mohammadpur at 11 am.
Besides, six matches of the competition were decided on the opening day (Friday).
On the day, Bangladesh Army beat Swathirtho Rugby Club by 43-5 points, Brothers Union Limited defeated Saint Gregory’s School and College 31-05, Bangladesh Army defeated Dhaka Commerce Rugby Club 64-5 and Brothers Union Limited outplayed Flame Boys Rugby Club 7-5.
Sponsored by Diamond Melamine and organised by Bangladesh Rugby Federation, a total of six teams, split into two groups, competed in the meet.
The participating teams are: Bangladesh Army, Brothers Union Club Limited (Chittagong), Flame Boys Club, Saint Gregory’s School & College, Dhaka Commerce Rugby Club and Swathirtho Rugby Club.
