A Discussion Meeting on Special Economic Zones , PPP & Local and Foreign Investment organized by the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) was held recently in the city, said a press release.
It was the second meeting of the said Standing Committee of FBCCI . Acting President of the FBCCI Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) along with FBCCI directors Hasina Newaz, Muntakim Asharaf, Habibullah Dawn, Kohinoor Islam, Anwar Sadat Sarker, Masud Parvez Khan Imran, were present at the meeting. M.A Kashem, Former First Vice President of the FBCCI along with former directors were also present in the meeting
Director in charge of the Standing Committee Tabarakul Tosaddek Hossain Khan Tito moderated the meeting and the Chairman of the Standing Committee ASM Mainuddin Monem apprised the standing committee members. Senior representatives from Bangladesh Economic Zone Authority (BEZA) & Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) were also present at the meeting.
The Standing Committee discussed on the issues related to investment and economic zones development in Bangladesh. Various views, opinions and questions were raised in the meeting by the Standing committee members which were addressed by BIDA and BEZA.
