A delegation of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) left here on Sunday for Vietnam to discuss the details of the ‘Vietnam-Bangladesh Business Forum’ to be held in Dhaka on March 6 next.
The FBCCI and the Ministry of Planning and Investment of Vietnam will jointly organise the ‘Vietnam-Bangladesh Business Forum’ at a city hotel with the participation of leading business organisations of both the countries, a FBCCI press release said on Monday.
Vietnam President Tran Dai Quang will visit Bangladesh from March 4 to 6 next and deliver a keynote speech at the forum.
During the visit of the FBCCI delegation to Vietnam, the FBCCI team will meet the Vietnamese Vice-Minister for Planning and Investment Nguyen Van Trung and Vice-Minister for Informatics and Communication (MIC) Phan Tam.
The FBCCI leaders will also meet the representatives of the Foreign Investment Agency (FIA) and the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
FBCCI president Md Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) is leading the delegation.
