FBCCI inks deal with Singapore Federation

The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FBCCI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF) aiming to strengthen relations and expand economic cooperation between the two bodies.
FBCCI President Md Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin and SMF President Douglas Foo signed the MoU on Tuesday on behalf of their respective sides at the Bangladesh-Singapore Business Forum-2018 held in Singapore, said a FBCCI press release on Wednesday.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina spoke at the forum. A Bangladesh business delegation accompanied the Premier as her entourage members during her tour to Singapore.
FBCCI Senior Vice-President Sheikh Fazle Fahim, Vice-President Md Muntakim Ashraf and its directors were present at the ceremony.
The agreement was signed to strengthen business relations and promote economic cooperation between the enterprises of the two countries.
According to the memorandum, both parties will promote exchange of business information, and will render assistance to each other in trade, investment and business events.
Both the parties will also arrange business conferences and exhibitions in their respective countries.
