Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Wednesday emphasized on tapping the huge potentials of the Digital Financial Service (DFS) in the country for achieving the development .
FBCCI today came up with the observation at a workshop on “Transforming Business through Digital Financial Services: Challenges and Opportunities” held at FBCCI conference centre in the city, said a press release.
FBCCI and the United Nations Development Fund (UNDP) organized the event. FBCCI President M Shafiul Islam (Mohiuddin) and its directors were present.
Partner of PwC Technology Consulting Arijit Chakraborti presented the key note paper. Program Manager of UNCDF Rajeev Kumar Gupta and Country Project Coordinator of UNCDF M Ashraful Alam, also spoke on the occasion.
Mohiuddin said the benefits of digitalization are one of the most important drivers of innovation, competitiveness and growth in businesses.
Representatives from international organizations, banks and different chambers and associations also attended the workshop.
