Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI) on Tuesday called upon the authorities concerned to take necessary steps for developing the skill of manpower to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.
The apex business body made the call at a meeting of the FBCCI Standing Committee relating to Ministry of Public Administration at its board room in the city, according to a press release.
Director In-Charge of the committee Mir Nizam Uddin Ahmed presented the detailed future plan of the committee. Chairman of the Standing Committee Mohammad Abu Bakar Mia presided over the meeting while FBCCI directors Nizamuddin Rajesh, M Yusuf Ashraf and Hafez Harun-or-Roshid also took part in the discussion.
Speakers at the meeting underscored the need for increasing the monitoring activities to bring the interest rate in single digit.
