The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries has launched its own alternative dispute resolution platform aiming at settling trade disputes a short time at a low cost.
The apex trade body also launched the FBCCI Institute to created academy-industry linkage and study of trade and economy, said a press release.
Former president of FBCCI, Shafiul Islam Mohiuddin, inaugurated the FBCCI ADR Center and the FBCCI Institute through a virtual ceremony on Wednesday.
FBCCI president Sheikh Fazle Fahim at the programme hoped that the FBCCI Institute would play a pivotal role in the industry-academy linkage, trade, and economy of Bangladesh.
And the FBCCI ADR Center will also highlight the country globally on a much greater scale, he added.
Mohammad Muntakim Ashraf, Senior Vice President of FBCCI, and Mohammad Mahfuzul Haque, Chief Executive Officer of FBCCI, also attended the virtual ceremony as keynote speakers.
