Fazle Rabbi hit 57 ball-71 as Prime Doleshwar recorded a five-wicket victory over Partex Sporting Club in their eighth match in Bangabandhu Dhaka Premier League (DPL) at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city’s Mirpur on Sunday.
While this was Doleshwar’s fifth victory in the eighth game which put them in the second spot, so far, Partex now tasted their eighth straight defeat to be languished at the bottom table.
Being sent to bat first, Partex were restricted to 134-7 with opener Hasanuzzaman clobbering the highest 29 ball-44 runs knock. Moin Khan contributed 33 while Captain Tasamul Haque made 22. Captain Farhad Reza took 2-8 for Doleshwar.
