Chairman of the Parliamentary standing committee on Ministry of Railway ABM Fazle Karim chowdhury MP along with party leaders visiting the flood ravaged under constructed Raozan BSCIC Industrial area under Raozan Upazila on Thursday .
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (In-charge) and Executive Magistrate and Upazila Engineer accompanied the lawmaker beside the ruling party leaders. Sources said out of the 16 damaged parts of Sartha and Dabua Khal , only 3 parts renovated and the earth filling in these broken parts of these khals remain suspended due to hillside on excavator engaged in earth filling work.
He also distributed the relief materials to the residents of Chikdair Union.
The lawmaker urges the local administrationto renovate the damaged embankments of the canals on emergency basis.
Among others, upazila President of Awami league Kamaluddin Ahmed, Project officer Niaz Morshed, Chairman of Urkirchar UP Abdul Jabbar Sohel, Jasimuddin Hiro, Councilor Alamgir Ali, Panel Mayor Jamiruddin Parvez, former councilor Nazrul islam, Samimul Islam , Md. Naser, Tapan Dey accompanied the lawmaker during his visit. Our Raozan correspondent sources said MP Fazle Karim visited the the poura areas beside the UP of Haladia and Chikdair and urged the local people to extend cooperation in rehabilitation works in the flood ravaged areas.
