Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Ministry of Railway and nominee of Awami League in coming parliament election from Chattogram-6 Constituency ABM Fazle Karim said the main theme of a people is to do something for the benefit of people wherever he stays.
He said during his previous tenure as lawmaker, written proposals sent to Prime Minister for sanctioning allowances to Imams, Muazzins , increasing of service age minimum 35 years and retirement at 65yrs which is under consideration of the govt .
He said if Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina voted to power again , these proposals will be implemented . He disclosed it while exchanging views with the leaders of Raozan Press Club at his city residence on Wednesday last centring the issue of coming national parliament election.
The incumbent lawmaker also presented his future ambitions to remove unemployment from Raozan, establishment of Medical college, build up skilled manpower through different categories of training with arrangement to sent the skilled men to abroad if present govt comes into power. He also hope for his victory in the coming national polls because of his association with the grassro0t level people of ‘Raozan and continous ongoing development activities of the upazila .
Meanwhile during his tenure for last 3 consecutive terms , militancy, terrorism, and anti social activities have been eliminated from the society and established peace and tranquility in the area. Mentionable that in last under his personal initiatives, about 5 lakh saplings were planted in ‘Raozan Upazila within one hour , one private owned power plant established , collection of 1,084 bags blood on Bangabandhu Martyred anniversary day, feed to 50 thousand destitute at Tungipara, and 20 thousand in own upazila on Bangabandhu’s martyred anniversary.
The law maker further said during his tenure of Parliament member, development works for ‘Tk.15 thousand crores done in Raozan . He mentioned that during his period , 15 UP complex , own offices of ‘Awami League, Jubo League, Chhatra League, Swechchhasebak League, poura bhaban were constructed permanently which is rare example across the country. Besides, school feeding introduced in Raozan for feeding 22 thousand primary school students at lunch time free of cost . During his tenure, Shilpakala Academy, Shishu Bikash Kendra, Kabi Nabin Sen Complex, Masterda Surya Sen Smriti Bhaban, library and chattar were constructed .
He further opined for implementing the railway t ra ck upto CUET campus from Kalurghat . He finally reiterated to turn the Raozan upazila as a top model upazila of the country if he is elected in coming election. He also sought blessing from all irrespective of caste and creed .
