Amzad Hossain is a living legend of the country’s film industry. For the first time he acted under own son Sohel Arman’s direction in a drama serial titled Jolrong, which is being aired on Ntv now. Amzad Hossain is acting in role of Dr Momen in the serial.
While talking about the making of the serial Sohel Arman told this correspondent, “Abba for the first time worked under my direction in this serial. He is such a noted actor which cannot be expressed in a word. It is really a great luck to work with him. He can easily understand what I wanted as a director during shooting. It is really a greta luck to get full support from such a noted actor. While working I always try to coordinate a combination among senior and junior actors as I believe the work becomes dimension. Earlier I had experience to work with such noted actors like late Golam Mustafa, late Abdullah Al Mamun and Soumitra Chatterjee. As a part of its continuation, I am working with my father. As a result, the serial becomes completeness as a whole.”
