Father and son were fatally injured when the opponents attacked them in the village Mohonpur under Morrelganj Upazila in Bgerhat district over the possession of a plot of disputed land on Thursday afternoon just before the Iftar-time, according to a delayed report received here.
The injured father and sons are one Sobhan Mir (52) and Azizul Mir (19) respectively of the village. They were admitted to Khulna Medical College Hospital in a critical condition for their treatment. In this connection Tanjila Begum, wife of Sobhan Mir registered a case as the plaintiff with Morrelganj PS accusing the two attackers. They were already arrested by the police. The accused arrested persons are Ferdous Shikdar and his mother Begum hail from, the same village.
When contacted Sayeedur Rahman, Officer-in-charge (investigation) of Morrelganj PS admitted the fact and told, the accused attackers were already arrested.
