UNB, Manikganj :
A teenage girl was strangled to death allegedly by her father at Dergram in sadar upazila on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as Jerin,13, a student of class VI of Muktijoddha Smriti High School.
Quoting family members police said when Jerin was sleeping with her grandmother her father Fazlu called him in his room.
On Sunday morning, family members found her dead in her father’s room.
Sadar thana SI Shafiqul Islam said it is suspected that Fazlu strangled her daughter to death. Police arrested Fazlu from the house. A case was filed.
