Noted lyricist, film director, producer and storywriter Gazi Mazharul Anwar and his daughter, popular singer Dithi Anwar for the first time performed together in a music video. Dithi earlier performed as model in music video of her own song while she had experienced to perform as model in the song which lyrics were
written by her father. For the first time,
she along with her father performed in
a music video which lyrics were also
written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar.
On the occasion of Mujib birth centenary, the song titled Bojrokonthe Bole Sheikh Mujib has been made recently. Lyrics of the song were written by Gazi Mazharul Anwar. This noted lyricist also performed in the music video through taking part in the recitation. Basically Gazi’s daughter Dithi and daughter and son of legendary singer late Bashir Ahmed, Homayra Bashir and Raja Bashir also performed in the music video. Raja Bashir has made the music video besides composing music of the song, which was released on YouTube channel of Sargam Sound Station on March 16. While talking about performing in the music video Gazi Mazharul Anwar said, “Basically with my daughter’s inspiration I took part in the music video of the song. I am waiting to see me in new way. I give cordial thanks to Raja and Homayra Bashir.” Dithi Anwar shared her feelings by this way, “Right now I am very much delighted because Abbu remained present with me in a music video by any way. I am really grateful to Homayra Apa and Raja Bashir in this regard. For their initiative Abbu could perform in the music video. I am also very much delighted that Abbu is going to receive Swadhinata Padak on March 24. Earlier, Abbu got Ekushey Padak. I am really lucky because I am daughter of that person who got two national awards.”
