Farzana Arefin and Salma Akhter emerged joint champions in the Annual Sports Competition of Ruqayyah Hall of Dhaka University held at the DU central playground on Monday.
Sharmita Ahmed Lia finished runner-up in the daylong meet.
Earlier, in the morning, Vice Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique inaugurated the meet as chief guest.
Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) of Dhaka University Prof Dr Nasrin Ahmed distributed the prizes among the winners in the afternoon. Provost of Ruqayyah Hall Prof Dr Nazma Shahin was present.
