Few days ago, popular face of the small screen Farzana Chumki started shooting of a new daily soap opera titled Gulshan Avenue- Season-2. Nima Rahman is giving direction of the daily soap while noted actor Tariq Anam Khan is working as its executive director. Shibashish Bondyopadhyay of India wrote story of this everyday’s serial.
Private television channel Banglavision has already given announcement to air this daily soap from December 1.
Farzana Chumki is playing the role of Fahmida in the daily soap. According to Chumki, she is playing an important role in the serial opposite Shahin. Chumki has already taken part in several numbers of episodes of the serial. While talking in this regard Farzana Chumki said, “There is new dimension in the story of Gulshan Avenue- Season-2. All the characters of this daily soap are very much significant. Though Nima Apa is giving direction of it but Tariq Anam Bhai is co-operating her a lot. As a result, it is becoming a good work. We who are acting in this daily soap everybody is very much optimistic about this serial. In fact, I am very much optimistic about this daily soap. I believe after airing it will create attention among the viewers. As an actor, I am satisfied to work in this daily soap. Now viewers will give their judgment after watching the daily soap opera.”
Meanwhile, Chumki also said that she is waiting to get release date of her acted first movie Paap Punnyo, directed by Gias Uddin Selim. Afsana Mimi, Chanchal Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed, among others, acted with her in this movie. Chumki played the role of Rabeya in this film.
In 1999, Farzana Chumki first acted in theatre play under the banner of Dhaka Theatre. On stage, Joiboti Konnyar Mon, Hat Hodai, Bon Pangshul, Prachhyo, etc were Chumki acted mentionable theatre plays. She last acted in theatre play Ekti Loukik Othoba Aloukik Steamer under Shahiduzzaman Selim’s direction.
