In her two decades of acting career, for the first time popular face of the small screen Farzana Chumki is working in Gias Uddin Selim’s movie titled Paap Punnyo. She has already taken part in shooting of the film in Chandpur. Till September 10, she will be busy with the shooting there. She is acting in role of Rabeya, wife of Chanchal Chowdhury in the film, according to her.
Chumki said, “I am very much satisfied to work in movie for the first time. There is acceptability among the viewers about the director Gias Uddin Selim and his directed movies. In the beginning of my acting career, I got offer to work in big screen. But overall situation was not favourable to me during that time. It is a liking matter that I got the chance to work under Gias Uddin Selim’s movie.”
Many days ago, Chumki acted under Selim-directed play Enechhi Surjer Hashi. In 1999, she became the first runner-up in ‘Lux-Anandadhara Photo Beauty Contest.’ Her acted first TV play was Wahiduzzaman Diamond’s Jibon Jekhane Jemon. Her performed first TVC was Pintu-directed Winter Guard Lip Jell. Her acted first telefilm was Khairul Bashar’s Hridoye Bosoti.
