“When respected Nima Rahman Apa sent me the script for first time, I requested her to give me some days. Nima Apa told me to take time and inform her later. After reading the script, I liked the role of Fahmida. Then I called Nima Apa to show my interest to play the role,” said popular TV actress Farzana Chumki while talking about acting in Banglavision’s upcoming daily soap, Gulshan Avenue Season-2. Directed by Nima Rahman, this serial will be aired from December 1 on the channel. For the first time, Farzana Chumki played a negative role on TV screen. While sharing her feelings in this regard the actress said, “Sweety Apa, Deepa Apa and I, among others including actors of new generation are acting in this daily soap. For this reason, I enjoyed a lot working in the serial. I have already loved my character in the series. I am very much optimistic about my character. I believe viewers will enjoy Gulshan Avenue Season-2.”
Today is the birthday of Farzana Chumki. But she has no arrangement to celebrate the day. Because her husband Mir Sabbir will be engaged with shooting and to get release date of Sabbir directorial his debut movie Raat Jaga Phul. However, Sabbir will pass first hour with Chumki on her birthday. Meanwhile, Chumki is acting in Murad Parvez directed ATN Bangla’s ongoing serial Smritir Alpona Anki. Therefore, she has already finished shooting of Masum Shahriar and Noim Imtiaz Neyamul directed two episode dramas. However, Chumki acted and Gias Uddin Selim directed movie Pap Punnyo is now uncertain to get release date. In 1999, Chumki first acted on the stage under the banner of Dhaka Theatre. Joiboti Konnyar Mon, Hat Hodai, Bono Pangshul, Prachcho, etc are Chumki acted mentionable theatre plays on the stage. She last acted in Shahiduzzaman Selim directed theatre play Ekti Loukik Othoba Aloukik Steamer.
