Farzana Chumki is a popular face of the small screen. According to the actress, she will remain busy in this year. Last year and during post-pandemic days, Chumki tried to remain busy with her works. In New Year, she took part in shooting of Nima Rahman directed Banglavision’s ongoing mega serial, Gulshan Avenue Season-2 and Murad Parvez directed ATN Bangla’s ongoing serial Smritir Alpona Anki.
Now Chumki is passing very busy times with acting in these two serials. Therefore, she has engagement with her two children in family life. In the meantime, she had to give time for taking part in the campaign of her husband actor and director Mir Sabbir directed movie Raat Jaga Phool. Now some viewers are going to cinema halls to watch this movie. Chumki tries to be present there to make the time joyful. While talking about acting in two drama serials at a time, Farzana Chumki said, “I am playing the role of Rina in the serial Smritir Alpona Anki. In the beginning of the serial, this character was a wicked typed who always remains busy with quarreling with her husband. Due to necessity of the story, nature of her character has been changed. Rina has changed herself. I am also enjoying playing this character. On the other hand, in Gulshan Avenue Season-2, I am playing in a negative role. I am getting positive response from the viewers for playing this negative role in the serial. Now I am very much satisfied to act in these two serials. I am cordially grateful to the viewers because they are watching my acted serials regularly and I am getting positive response from the viewers for good works.”
Chumki also said that after February 21, she will be engaged with some new projects. Current year Chumki acted movie Paap Punnyo is expected to release. Afsana Mimi, Chanchal Chowdhury, Siam Ahmed and many others also acted in this movie.
In 1999, Farzana Chumki became first runner-up in Lux-Anandadhara photo beauty contest. Syed Wahiduzzaman Diamond directed drama Jibon Jekhane Jemon was Chumki acted her debut work in small screen. Winter Guard Lip Jel was her performed first TVC directed by Pintu. In drama Hridoye Boshoti, she first paired up with Mir Sabbir. Khairul Bashar gave direction of this drama. While talking about her acting career, Chumki said, “I came into media after getting inspiration from my elder sister Nilu Apa. Only for her, I have become today’s Farzana Chumki. For this reason, I will remain always grateful to her.”
