Noted film actor and freedom-fighter Faruk will get the Bbarta Gold Medal for his contribution in the war of independence of Bangladesh. He will receive the award at a function which is scheduled to be held at Poet Sufia Kamal Auditorium of the Central Public Library in the city’s Shahbagh area on April 12.
