Ten years ago, Dhaka Theatre’s Faruk Ahmed and Aronnyok’s A Kh M Hasan worked together in a serial. From that time to present they have worked together in several single episode plays and serials.
This popular pair again worked together in a new serial titled Salman Khan-er Biye. Progga Niharika wrote story of the serial, while she also gave its direction. A Kh M Hasan played in the title role while Faruk Ahmed acted in role of his matchmaker. Shooting of two phases of the serial has already been finished at a residence in Pubail in Gazipur recently.
Director Progga Niharika is now engaged with final editing of the serial. While talking about the serial Faruk Ahmed told this correspondent, “I am really impressed with the story and direction of Progga Niharika. Her story telling and direction also impressed me. I believe viewers will also enjoy the serial. Therefore, I always enjoy working with Hasan.”
A Kh M Hasan shared his feelings by this way, “There is a good understanding between Faruk Bhai and me is both of us came from theatre. For this reason, we have a better understanding about work. Progga Didi also did her works properly. I worked in the serial with a challenge.”
More than 100 episodes this serial will go on air in any satellite channel soon, said its director.
Faruk Ahmed and A Kh M Hasan will again work together in a serial on the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr under Sagor Jahan’s direction, Faruk Ahmed said.
