Entertainment Report :Besides acting, popular actor Faruk Ahmed has already established himself as a playwright. He has been writing plays since 1997 besides acting. Under his written first story was directed by Shahiduzzaman Selim. Title of the play was Uchchho Bongsho Patro Chai. Later he has been regularly or irregularly writing plays. Wring story for TV serial is a lengthy process for this reason Faruk Ahmed did not write any story for any serial. This time he firstly wrote a story of a serial titled Megheder Sangsar. He has already finished shooting of 13 episodes of the serial. On the occasion of coming Eid-ul-Fitr he has also written a seven-episode serial titled Haw Maw Khaw, which will be directed by Animesh Aich. These two serials have been produced under own production house, Lilliput Entertainment.While talking about for writing two serials Faruk Ahmed told this correspondent, “Stories of the serials are comedy typed and I believe viewers will enjoy while watching these on the screen. But I am very much optimistic about Haw Maw Khaw because while writing its story I gave more time. Viewers will obviously enjoy.”Coming March 25 is his birthday. He has no special plan to celebrate his birthday. On that day he will take part in shooting of a play titled Hero under Aditya Alam’s direction. He will act in title role in that play. Meanwhile, Faruk Ahmed is working in 11 serials including Sagor Jahan’s Milar Baranda and Ei Kuley Ami Oi Kuley Tumi, Animesh Aich’s Bubuner Shat Shotero and Anjan Aich’s Rupkothar Maa and Nirbashon. He last worked in Animesh Aich’s movie Bhoyonkor Sundor, which will be released soon, Faruk Ahmed mentioned.
