Farooki’s No Land’s Man nominated for Kim Jiseok Award at 26th Busan Int’l Film Festival

Internationally acclaimed
filmmaker Mostofa Sarwar Farooki’s upcoming movie titled No Land’s Man has been
nominated for the Kim Jiseok Award at the 26th Busan International Film Festival.
The film, starring noted Indian actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui narrates the theme of social discrimination in terms of race, religion, and nationality. The American-Indian-Bangladeshi joint venture features music by renowned Indian composer and Oscar-BAFTA-Grammy winner, A R Rahman.
No Land’s Man is a production by the US company Dialectic and Bangladesh’s Chabial, in association with India’s Magic If Films, Bangladesh’s Sun Music & Motion Pictures and Bongo BD. Shrihari Sathe, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Anjan Chowdhury, Nusrat Imrose Tisha, A R Rahman and Faridur Reza
Sagar are co-producers on the film. The film is predominantly English, with some dialogue in Hindi and Urdu. No Land’s Man also stars celebrated Bangladeshi musician and actor Tahsan Khan and promising Australian actor Megan Mitchell, among others.
The film has been shot across New York, India and Australia.
