With the financial assistance of International Donor Organisation Harvest Plus Bangladesh, Christian Commission For Development in Bangladesh(CCDB ) and Shibalaya Farmers Group arranged high zinc rice seed cultivation training on Sunday and Monday (7th and 8th December).
The training was held at CCDB office under Shibalaya Upazila in Manikganj District. District Agriculture Department DD Alimuzzaman Mia inaugurated the training as Chief Guest on 8th December.
CCDB Seed Promotion Programme chief Mr. Samiran Biswas conducted the training programme. District Seed certified officer Md. Manjur Alam, Upazila Agriculture Officer Moshiur Rahaman, HarvestPlus Bangladesh representative Md. Atiqul Alam, Social Worker Suvash Majumder, Sudip Ghosh Basu, Shibalaya Farmers Group Managing Director Md. Amzad Hossain, Director Awalad Hossain spoke at the distribution function. 50 farmers were given High Zinc Rice Cultivation Training. Shibalaya UNO AKM Galiv Khan was Chief Guest on Sunday.
Chief guest Alimuzzaman said, human body is facing different problems for want of zinc. People are being also short for want of it. Zinc is essential to prevent many kinds of diseases and problem.
