Farmers’ training held in Rangpur

Bangladesh Institute of Nuclear Agriculture (BINA) Director General Internationally renowned scientist Dr. Mirza Mofazzal Islam said that the current government is an agricultural friendly government. He said that the current Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is encouraging farmers to grow crops by giving agricultural incentives all over the country. BINA produces seeds in a short time and gives them to the farmers. Agricultural change is happening in the country. The common farmers of the country are getting this benefit.
On Thursday , he spoke about training organized at BINA Tajhat Sub-Centre, introduction of existing crop oil crops and increasing the production of short-lived Aman rice varieties.
Under the chairmanship of Rangpur Region Director DAE Agriculturist Shah Alam, BINA Director Agriculturist Md. Zahidul Amin, agriculturist Md. Mahbubar Rahman, Bina sub-centre officer-in-charge Dr. Mohammad Ali were present as special guests.
Without scientific officers Md. Mahmudul Hasan and Motabber Rahman, Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer Alamgir Hossain, Farmer Md. Motiyar Rahman (Mithapukur), Md. Ismail Hossain (Pirgacha), Alhaj¦ Maqbul Hossain etc. 75 people including assistant agricultural officers, seed dealers, farmers were present in it.
Through this training, farmers can easily grow mustard or potato by cultivating Bina Aman varieties such as Binadhan-17, Binadhan-20. This will increase the production of food. The farmer will benefit along with the farmer.
