Farmer Alam from Munishirgown village said, “I cultivate cauliflower in 3 to 4 bighas of land every year but this year due to financial crisis I have cultivated cauliflower in 2.5 bighas of land. If the price is higher, I will benefit financially.”
Upazila Agriculture Officer said, “Some vegetables have already been cultivated in 750 hectares of land in Bishwanath upazila this winter. So far, early vegetable cultivation has been started in 250 hectares of land. The farmers who have grown vegetables in advance are benefiting.
