A farmer was killed by his rival groups at Kumri village in Patuabangha union under Pakundia upazila on Sunday noon over land dispute.
The victim was identified as Md Mohiuddin (50) son of Late Shokur Ali in Kumri village under Pakundia upazila.
On information Pakundia police rushed to the spot and dead body recovered.
Police also arrested one named Moti Miah.
The dead body was sent to Kishoreganj General Hospital morgue for autopsy.
A case was filed in this connection with Pakundia Police Station.
