Police recovered a body of a farmer from Kashimpur village field under Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.
The victim is identified as Aziz Mondol, 42 son of Tajuddin Mondol of Kashimpur village of the district. He was day a labourer.
Altaf Hossain , SP , Jhenidah said, he went out for Goalpara Bazaar on Friday morning . Since then he had gone missing.
At around 8-30 am on Saturday the locals found his body lying on the village field. On information police reached the spot and recovered the body.
The terrorists strangulated him to death and left body in the field, the SP added.
